Cat Adopts Baby Ducks
Yes, this cat in Clara, Ireland has not only adopted these orphaned baby ducks - she ‘s even suckles them. “The minute the cat lay down the three ducklings ran underneath her. She stared to purr,” the cat’s owner Ronan Lally told The Irish Independent. “We lifted her up and two ducklings were latched onto the cat. The cat has all the maternal instinct, she has her paw around them and it is just extraordinary.”

Mario Batali Presents: How to Make a Porcini Rub

Perfect for grilling, this rub gives the steak a rich, earthy flavor with a crust that is to die for! Recipe (Mozza Cookbook) below: 2 ounces dried porcini 1 tablespoon red pepper flake 1/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons kosher salt, plus more for seasoning 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper, plus more for seasoning Finishing-quality olive oil Rough chop the dried porcini, and grind in a blender, first slowly and then gradually increase. Add in Red pepper flakes. Mix salt, pepper, and sugar, and add in blended mix. Take your Rib Eye and dust it with your rub. Use kitchen twine to wrap around the steak, add a pinch more salt and pepper, and drizzle on some olive oil. Flip the steak and repeat. (Makes enough for 4 rib eye steaks-preferably frenched)
